Professional Career of Gary Karlin

Gary Karlin had started his professional career by attending DeVry Institute of Technology’s Electrical Engineering curriculum.

Gary Karlin worked for a large telecommunications firm, as a bench technician and worked on projects for the Fortune 1000. Sprint, MCI/Worldcomm, AT&T, Bellcore, Lucent Technologies were among the orders fulfilled. He worked on switches, routers, channel cards, link cards, echo cancellers, T-coders all DS0 through DS3 circuitry.

In his next professional role, Gary Karlin became an Account Executive for an internet provider, working his way up to Sales Manager. With a technical background he was instrumental not only on sales calls as a Sales Engineer, there to answer the difficult questions, and also thought of himself as a solution provider. Products that Gary worked with and further developed were T1, T3, fractional, full and bonded, voice, VOIP, Dialup, DSL, IDSL, and ISDN 64K/128K.
